Connect your tools
Connect your tools
Connect the CRM, ERP, email and calendar tools your team already uses, for yourself or for the whole team, and control who can use each connection.
Where to connect
Open Integrations in the sidebar. Each tool has a card with a Connect button. Search by name, or filter by category such as CRM, ERP, Email or Calendar. Tools you've connected move to the front and show a green border.
During your first visit, the Sadeh chat also offers the most common tools as buttons. These connect the tool just for you. To connect one for the whole team, use Integrations.
For the team, or just for you
Some tools can be connected in two ways:
- For the whole team (Team): one shared connection that everyone in the workspace uses through Sadeh, with the access of the account that connected it.
- Just for me (Personal): a private connection that only you use.
When you connect a tool that allows both, and you're an owner or admin, Sadeh asks which one you want. Everyone else connects just for themselves. If you have both, Sadeh uses your personal connection for you.
Business systems such as ERPs can only be connected for the whole team, by an owner or admin. Other team members see Admins only on those cards.
Connect with a sign-in window
Most tools, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Gmail and Outlook, connect through the tool's own sign-in window:
- Click Connect and, if asked, choose For the whole team or Just for me.
- A window opens. Sign in to the tool and allow access. Your password stays with the tool.
- The window closes and Sadeh shows the tool as connected. The page updates by itself.
If no window opens
Your browser may have blocked the pop-up. Sadeh then opens the sign-in in the same tab. When you finish, click Continue in Sadeh to return. If a sign-in takes more than 10 minutes, start again.
Some sign-in windows show a warning that the provider hasn't verified Sadeh's app. Examples are Microsoft's unverified publisher note, HubSpot's unverified-app warning and, for some Google accounts, Google's unverified-app screen. Google may also still show the app's previous name. Sadeh hasn't completed these provider reviews yet, so the warning is expected. If your company only allows approved apps, or Microsoft says you need admin approval, ask your IT administrator to approve Sadeh.
Connect with a form
Some tools connect with a form instead. Business systems need details from your administrator, such as a server address, a user and a password or API key. For Apple iCloud, use your own Apple ID and an app-specific password. For Apollo.io, use your own API key. Sadeh checks the details for SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Odoo, Priority and Apple iCloud with the tool before saving. If the connection fails, Sadeh shows a message saying what to check. Shopify, HiBob and Apollo.io details are saved without a check. If Sadeh later can't read from one of them, disconnect it and connect again with the right details. The form closes and the card turns green when it's done.
NetSuite and Business Central have a guided setup. See NetSuite and Business Central.
After connecting
A connected card shows Team, Personal or both, and these controls:
- Preview shows a few sample records, so you can see the connection works. For some tools it opens empty even when the connection works. On a team connection, only owners and admins can use Preview. For other members it shows an error such as Failed to load preview, which doesn't mean the connection is broken.
- Who can use it (team connections, owners and admins): Everyone, Admins & owners or Owners only.
- Manage connection (NetSuite, Business Central and Priority, owners and admins): check access again or change the setup.
- Watchlist shows the smart alerts this tool supports. See Smart alerts.
Everyone who can use a team connection works with the access of the account that connected it. Sadeh doesn't add per-person permissions on top of that, so connect with an account whose access fits the team, and use Who can use it to narrow it down.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect (or Disconnect team / Disconnect personal) on the card. Only owners and admins can disconnect a team connection. Sadeh stops using the connection right away, without asking you to confirm.
Disconnecting doesn't withdraw the access you granted in the tool itself. To remove it completely, also remove Sadeh in the tool's own settings, such as its list of connected apps.

What Sadeh can do with each tool depends on the tool and on the access of the connected account. Reading never needs approval. Sending something or changing a business system waits for your approval, unless you chose Always allow for that kind of action. A few changes that only affect you and are easy to undo, such as tidying your inbox or saving a draft, run as soon as you ask. See Approvals and control.
Slack is a channel rather than a tool: an admin connects it under Settings, on the Channels tab.
