Pair WhatsApp

Link your phone to Sadeh once with a one-time code. After that, message Sadeh on WhatsApp like you would message a colleague.

Before you start

  • You need WhatsApp on the phone you want to use.
  • Your workspace needs a Sadeh WhatsApp number. New workspaces usually have one ready. If yours doesn't, the pairing step tells you who can set it up.

Pair your phone

  1. Go to Settings, open the Channels tab and click Manage connected phones under Sadeh on WhatsApp. You can also click Connect next to Pair your WhatsApp in the Getting started list, or, in your first chat after you connect a tool, click Pair my WhatsApp.
  2. Choose your country, type your WhatsApp number and click Continue (in the first chat the button says Get my code). You can type it the local way or paste it with the country code.
  3. Sadeh prepares a one-time code and gives you two ways to send it. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera, or click Open WhatsApp on a computer that has WhatsApp. Either way, WhatsApp opens a chat with Sadeh with a message like Connect 8273 ready to send.
  4. Tap Send. Send it from the same number you entered.
  5. Sadeh replies on WhatsApp, and your number appears under Your connected phones as Connected. If you paired from the first chat, Sadeh says there: Paired! I'm on your WhatsApp now. Voice notes work too.

The code expired?

Codes only work for a short time. Click Get a new code and send the new message.

What you can send

Write to Sadeh in plain language. You can send text, voice notes, photos and files. Sadeh can't use locations, contact cards, stickers or videos yet, and tells you so.

Try one of these:

  • What's on my calendar tomorrow?
  • Which emails am I forgetting to answer?
  • Remind me to call Dana tomorrow at 9.

When a request would send an email, book a meeting or update a record, Sadeh replies with a review card first, unless you chose Always allow for that kind of action. Tap Approve to go ahead or Cancel to stop. See Approvals and control for the details.

Add or remove a phone

Go to Settings, open the Channels tab and click Manage connected phones under Sadeh on WhatsApp. Click + Add another phone to pair a second number, or Disconnect to remove one. The same card shows your company's Sadeh number.
