Approvals and control
Sadeh shows you what it will send or change, and waits for your approval. Fix a draft with a reply, edit it on the web, or skip the card for actions you trust.
What waits for your approval
Reading never needs approval. Sadeh searches and reads your connected tools to answer you.
Anything that sends something or changes a business system waits for you. That includes sending, replying to or forwarding email, creating or changing calendar events, updating your CRM or ERP, and creating or deleting automations. Sadeh shows you a review card and does nothing until you approve it.
A few changes run as soon as you ask, because they only affect you and are easy to undo:
- Tidying your inbox: labels, archive, star, read or unread, and saving a draft
- Reminders and follow-ups for yourself
- What Sadeh remembers about you
- Your own notification settings, such as Watchlist delivery or the time of your daily digest
Actions you always allow
If you chose Always allow for an action, Sadeh runs matching actions without a card. See Skip the card for actions you trust.
The review card
On WhatsApp, each proposed action arrives as its own message, for example:
Sadeh: ready for your review
Log a COMPLETED note, call, or meeting on a HubSpot company, contact or deal. • subject: Visit at Acme Foods: 250-unit quote • type: meeting • company_id: 31415926 • occurred_at: 28.09.2026 15:00 • timezone: Asia/Jerusalem • body: Met Dana Levi. Wants a quote for 250 units by Friday. Asked about 60-day payment terms. Expires 28 Sep 17:12 (Asia/Jerusalem). Preview. Full details: https://app.sadeh.ai/activity Always allow: future actions of this kind on this connection, even with different details. Manage in Settings. To change it, reply with text or a voice note.
16:42The card tells you:
- What will happen, in one sentence.
- The details Sadeh will use, one per line, such as the recipient, subject and text of an email. The names on the left are the ones the connected tool uses. Long values, such as an email body, and long lists are shortened on the card.
- When it expires. After that, nothing runs.
- Where to see the full details: on the Activity page, click Edit on the action to see every value in full.
When Sadeh proposes several actions at once, the cards are numbered, such as (1/2) and (2/2), and the last one offers Approve all. If any card in the group is a sensitive action, the button isn't shown. Reply approve all instead: it runs every card except the sensitive ones, and each of those still needs its code.
Answer a card
| To | Do this |
|---|---|
| Run it | Tap Approve, or reply yes, ok or send. |
| Stop it | Tap Cancel. Nothing runs. |
| Change it | Reply with the change, by text or voice note, such as Make it 250 units. Sadeh sends a new card, and the old one can no longer run. |
| Run every open card in the chat | Tap Approve all on the last card (when shown), or reply approve all. |
| Stop asking about this kind of action | Tap Always allow. |
A typed yes approves the oldest open card. To approve or cancel a specific card, tap its button or reply to that card. A plain no or cancel, not sent as a reply to one card, cancels every open card in the chat.
After you approve, Sadeh replies ✅ Done. If the action fails, Sadeh says so. Sometimes the change goes through anyway, so check the connected tool, such as your Sent folder or the CRM record, before you ask again. Tapping a card again never runs the action twice.
"Stop" doesn't cancel a card
On WhatsApp, a message that is only the word stop turns off Sadeh's updates. It doesn't cancel a pending card. Tap Cancel or reply no instead.
How long a card waits
| The card came from | It expires after |
|---|---|
| Something you asked for | 30 minutes |
| An automation or Watchlist, sent to you on WhatsApp | 24 hours |
| An automation or Watchlist, held for later, such as for your daily digest | 36 hours |
| An automation or Watchlist, set to Only on the website | 3 days |
When a card expires, nothing runs. Ask again and Sadeh proposes it fresh.
Review on the web
Open Activity to see everything that waits for you, whether it started on WhatsApp, in the web chat, in an automation or in a Watchlist. Cards are grouped by where they came from, such as From chat or from automation: Daily pipeline.
- Read the card. It shows the same details as on WhatsApp, and when it expires.
- Click Approve to run it, or Reject to drop it.
- To change something first, click Edit, change the fields and click Save and approve. Save keeps your changes without approving.
- When a group has several cards, Approve all runs them together and Reject all drops them.
You can approve a WhatsApp card on the web too. If you tap it on your phone afterwards, Sadeh tells you it's already done and doesn't run it again.
Skip the card for actions you trust
Always allow approves the current action and tells Sadeh to run future actions like it without asking.
- On WhatsApp, Always allow covers that kind of action on that connection, even with different details. For example, every new email Sadeh sends from your Gmail. Replies and forwards are separate actions and still ask.
- On the Activity page, Always allow ▾ lets you choose how wide the rule is:
- Any action of that kind, such as Any Email: send
- Only when it comes from one automation or Watchlist
- Only when one detail matches, such as Email: send when to = ap@acmefoods.example
Pick the narrowest rule that saves you time. Your rules apply only to you. If you reconnect or change the account, a rule shows Renewal needed and stops applying until you choose Always allow again.
Remove a rule
Go to Settings, open the Preferences tab and find Automatic approvals. Click Remove next to the rule, and Sadeh asks you again next time.
Sensitive actions need a code
One action currently needs a typed code instead of a button: emailing a sales quote to a customer from Business Central. That card has no buttons. Below the action's details it says This is a sensitive action. To approve, reply: followed by a four-character code. The expiry, preview and To change it lines come after it, as on other cards. Reply with that code to approve. On the web, Sadeh asks you to type the code. Emailing a quotation from Odoo uses an ordinary card with buttons.
Approve all skips sensitive actions, and Always allow isn't available for them.
Where requests from automations and Watchlists go
When an automation or a Watchlist proposes an action, you choose how the request reaches you. Go to Settings and find Action approvals on the Preferences tab:
- Real-time: a WhatsApp message with approve buttons as soon as the request is created. WhatsApp only lets Sadeh message you within 24 hours of your last message to Sadeh. Outside that window, or if your WhatsApp updates are set to In the app only or turned off with stop, the request waits in Activity.
- In the daily digest: requests collect on the Activity page, and your daily digest lists what is waiting. Like other updates, the digest reaches WhatsApp only within 24 hours of your last message to Sadeh. Otherwise it waits in Activity, under Updates for you. If your daily digest is turned off, requests wait on the Activity page without a message.
- Only on the website: no approval cards on WhatsApp. Requests wait on the Activity page. If your daily digest is on, it still lists what's waiting.
This setting only affects automations and Watchlists. When you ask Sadeh for something yourself, the card comes right away, in the same chat.
For admins: the audit log
Admins and owners see Audit log in the sidebar. It lists what Sadeh ran for the team, including reads: the action, the channel, the time, and whether it was approved or failed. It hides the details of each action, such as the text of an email, and shows the latest 100 entries.
